1. Sun Salutation (Modified)

This classic sequence is a great way to warm up your body and get your blood flowing for a quick morning yoga routine. Here’s a modified version that’s perfect for beginners:

  • Mountain Pose: Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and your arms by your sides.
  • Inhale: Raise your arms overhead, reaching towards the sky.
  • Exhale: Bend forward, touching your toes or shins.
  • Inhale: Lift your chest, coming into a flat back.
  • Exhale: Step back into a plank pose.
  • Inhale: Drop down into a cobra pose, lifting your chest and hips.
  • Exhale: Lower back to the mat.
  • Inhale: Push back into a downward-facing dog.
  • Exhale: Step forward, bringing your feet to your hands.
  • Inhale: Rise up into mountain pose.

Repeat 5-10 times.
